Refund policy
At Gravex Hobby, we want every customer to feel confident and satisfied with their purchase. This Return and Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which returns and refunds are accepted, the process for initiating a return, and what you can expect once your return has been received and processed.
Our Return Window
We accept returns within 30 days of the delivery date as confirmed by the shipping carrier. To be eligible for a return, your item must meet all of the eligibility requirements outlined in this policy. Requests for returns submitted after 30 days from the confirmed delivery date will not be accepted.
Return Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for a return at Gravex Hobby, the following conditions must be met:
The item must be in its original, factory sealed condition. We only accept returns on products that are completely unopened and have not been tampered with in any way. Items that have been opened, had their seals broken, or show any signs of having been accessed are not eligible for return under any circumstances.
The item must be in the same condition in which it was received. If an item was delivered in perfect sealed condition and has since been damaged by the customer, it is not eligible for return.
The return request must be submitted within 30 days of the confirmed delivery date.
The item must be accompanied by proof of purchase, such as your order number or order confirmation email.
Items That Are Not Eligible for Return
The following items and circumstances are explicitly excluded from our return policy:
Any product that has been opened, regardless of what was or was not found inside. Once a sealed product has been opened, it is no longer eligible for return. This policy applies without exception because the contents of sealed trading card products are determined by the manufacturer and are outside of our control.
Any product returned after the 30-day return window has expired.
Any product that was damaged by the customer after delivery.
Any product that shows signs of tampering, resealing, or alteration by the customer.
Digital products, downloadable content, or gift cards if applicable.
How to Initiate a Return
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
Step One โ Contact Us First. Before sending any item back, you must contact us at hello@gravexhobby.shop to request a return authorization. Please include your full name, your order number, the item you wish to return, and the reason for your return request. Do not send items back without first receiving authorization from our team, as unauthorized returns may not be accepted or processed.
Step Two โ Receive Return Instructions. Once we have reviewed your return request and confirmed eligibility, we will send you detailed return instructions including the return shipping address and any additional steps required to complete your return.
Step Three โ Pack and Ship Your Return. Please pack your item securely to prevent damage during return transit. We recommend using the same or equivalent packaging in which the item was received. You are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the return is due to an error on our part, such as receiving the wrong item or a product that arrived damaged.
Step Four โ Share Your Tracking Information. Once you have shipped your return, please email us your return tracking number so we can monitor the shipment and process your refund as quickly as possible after it arrives.
Return Shipping Costs
Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the return is the result of an error made by Gravex Hobby, such as shipping the wrong item or shipping a product that arrived in a condition inconsistent with how it was described. In cases where the return is due to our error, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label or reimburse reasonable return shipping costs.
We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping method for all returns. Gravex Hobby is not responsible for return packages that are lost or damaged in transit. We cannot process a refund for an item that we do not receive.
Refund Processing
Once we receive your returned item, our team will inspect it to confirm that it meets our return eligibility requirements. This inspection is typically completed within 2 to 3 business days of receiving the return. If the item passes inspection and is confirmed to be in its original factory sealed condition, we will process your refund within 10 business days of receiving the return.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. We do not issue refunds in the form of store credit or gift cards unless specifically requested by the customer and agreed upon by our team.
Please note that the time it takes for your refund to appear in your account after it has been processed by us may vary depending on your bank, credit card issuer, or payment provider. In most cases, refunds appear within 3 to 10 business days after processing, but this timeframe is controlled by your financial institution and is outside of our control.
Partial Refunds
In certain circumstances, a partial refund may be issued rather than a full refund. This may occur if an item is returned in a condition that differs from what was described in the return request, or if only a portion of an order is being returned. If a partial refund applies to your situation, we will communicate this to you clearly before processing any amount.
Exchanges
At this time, Gravex Hobby does not offer direct product exchanges. If you would like a different product, please initiate a return for your original item in accordance with this policy and place a new order for the item you would prefer. This ensures that your new order is processed and shipped as quickly as possible without being delayed by the return process.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is damaged upon arrival or that does not match what you ordered, please contact us at hello@gravexhobby.shop within 7 days of delivery. Include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photographs of the item and packaging as received. We will assess the situation promptly and work with you to provide an appropriate resolution, which may include a replacement, a refund, or another remedy depending on the circumstances.
Please note that damage caused by the shipping carrier is handled differently from damage caused by improper packaging on our end. In carrier damage cases, we may need to file a claim with the carrier before a resolution can be issued. We will keep you informed throughout that process.
Sealed Product Contents Disclaimer
Please be aware that Gravex Hobby sells sealed trading card cases and collectibles. The specific cards, items, or contents found inside any sealed product after opening are determined entirely by the manufacturer and are subject to the odds and configurations published by that manufacturer. We do not accept returns on the basis of dissatisfaction with the contents found inside an opened sealed product. Once a sealed product has been opened, it is no longer eligible for return regardless of what was or was not found inside. Please review our Disclaimer page for full details.
